

I have many years experience in assessment and testing, training, and disability issues. I am also available to work anywhere within the UK.
I am a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, with extensive experience in training and psychometric testing. I have been in private practice for the past 6 years, and have prepared reports in civil proceedings in relation to personal injury, road traffic accidents, and the affects of post traumatic stress; and in criminal proceedings carrying out psychological assessments in cases of assault.
I am currently completing training for the 'Expert Witness Certificate'.
I worked for the Employment Service, Disability Services for 16 years, providing assessments, guidance and counselling services to adults and teenagers, and carrying out research projects and staff training. I am on the Board of Verifiers (Level A) with the British Psychological Society, and hold the Level A and Level B (Intermediate) Certificates in Occupational Testing. I am experienced in Personality Profiling and the use of Type Indicators and Trait Theory questionnaires. I am qualified in the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and a registered user with Oxford Psychologist Press. I am fully qualified to carry out all psychometric tests and other relevant tests where appropriate. I am trained and experienced in structured interviewing techniques.
I have extensive experience in Disability issues, particularly with specific learning difficulties, and am qualified and experienced in diagnostic testing for dyslexia, dyspraxia and other Specific Learning Disabilities in adults, and children, and can advise on the impact of disability, and on solutions (technology, IT, personal development plans, literacy and numeracy improvement etc.). I have been a Consulting Psychologist for Dyslexia Action for the past 6 years, where I carry out assessments with adults and children. I am trained and experienced in the use of Neuropsychological assessment instruments, and experienced in carrying out diagnostic assessments for acquired brain injury.
I am also a specialist in rehabilitation, having extensive experience as a psychologist with the Employment Rehabilitation Service, and case management and assessment work for the Rehabilitation Network. I also have some training in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which I am continuing to improve on through my continuous professional development programme. I am also currently studying for an MSC in Forensic Psychology by distance learning. I am experienced in working with children, trained as a Steiner School Teacher and taught at Bristol and Cardiff Steiner schools part-time from 2003-2006.
